went to my grandma bro house to pai nian today.
had lots and lots of food.
ate till i was full to my fulless.
then stayed there and watch the channel 5 show.

but it seriously didnt.
now my only way out is salt solution[too much chem]

haha.came home ard 9plus today.
the intinery was:

1)CNY celebraions
2)go Plaza Singapura[GEISHA]
3)bugis[shop for my CNY clothes]
4)keet's house[explore + dinner]
5)HOME...

had to design a dog.
our class didnt win but it was funny.
then i blowed a green balloon and attached it to my bag.
so when i went out, ppl were a distance behind me.COOL MANN!!
the emcees for CNY celebration were sye yuet and seok han.
syeyuet looked funny.
she should wear skirt.
anyway the 4P performance was funny.
cant stop laughing.
everyone around me was grabbing their sides and was rolling about.
then had this PPT on dogs.
Next time when i grow up, i want to have a snuzzle and a maltese.
THEY ARE SO CUTE!!!!!IRRESISTABLE!!!
ate tian ruo's oranges[she gave me because i was busy juggling the oranges.haha].

the main lead-chiyo was damm cute and pretty[when young]
when she grew up, she was pretty and SUPER elegant.

after the show i went shopping with lots of people.
was looking for skirts.

anyway i think its super funny to have a dustbin covered with angbaos.even the lid was angbao-ed.then had to paste an angbao on my shirt.and rachel took adv of my modesty.AHAHAHA.bian tai.or is zit bian hai.

the new sec1s came.it was damm funny while playing the mass game.i wish i had a much more high pitch voice.so i wouldnt sound DISTINCT..

went to JOG 1 round ard my estate.
purpose:to train my stamina for cross country(:
area:circuit road.
analogy:because it is build as such the cars can go around it like a circuit.
so its like a large scale stadium with lots of interesting and unusual facilities surrounding it.

haha.anyway.i jog for ard 10mins then went home to watch lucky charm.
was laughing my heads out while watching huang biren acting macho and tomboyish.
while chen hanwei acting gay and girly..to the extend he wore women clothes..

anyway i feel like i am using my geography cum ss/hist skills.

I JUST WANT TO TELL THE WHOLE WORLD THAT IN THE FIRST TIME IN 1 YEAR, I DID NOT SLEEP IN CLASS TODAY!!*GRINS* & *CLAPPS*

haha.just that the after effect was..

1)sleeping in the canteen before guides session.
2)having to ENDURE the temptation of sleeping.
3)having to keep my head straight--->head pain.
[Because my dear friend cherlia told me when i'm about to sleep, my head will tilt left/right. so i had to keep shifting my head as i was aways tilting]

anyway.today had guides.
then i had to make an annoucement.
so thinking i was soft, i raise my normal volume twice.
i heard my echo. it was SO COOL. they came 1 second after every word.
so now i finally understand what is echo[physics] about.
YEAH!!

then the qms pack the store and lounge.
basically, most stuff cant be place in the lounge anymore.
so cleared the store to make space with yurong.
while azi and gwen clean the lounge.
haha.anyway the lounge smell of baygone.
azi's theory:

azi:"i saw cockroach shit"
me"i saw that many times"
azi:"cockroach shit=alive cockroaches=spraying of baygone"
me"but that day we cleared, no trace of cockroaches"
azi:"this is because the cockroach comes at night and leaves in the morning"

so after that we went toilet.

anyway.back to store.
we found a kerosene container labelled blueberry.
we were guessing whether it was kerosene as the container smell seriously NICE.
so the nice smell went gross when open the cover.
then we were pouring this glass bottle into an empty kerosane container.
then the lid fell and kerosene splattered all over my leg.
it was damm disgusting yet funny.
imagine if there was a fire, part of my leg would be burnt leaving the rest untouched.

dismantled our clob house.it was so sad.
the best thing was that the knots and lashing were tight, so we had a harder time.

anyway i wish everyone all the best in using the store.
they be CONFUNDED.

Why does it matter?
If death is not a bad thing then many of the objections to euthanasia vanish.
Once we get past the idea that death is a bad thing, we are able to consider whether death may actually sometimes be a good thing.

Why is death a bad thing?

Death is regarded as a bad thing:
-because human life is intrinsically valuable
-because life and death are God's business with which we shouldn't interfere
-because most people don't want to die
-because it violates our autonomy in a drastic way

The last two reasons why death is a bad thing are not absolute; if a person wants to die, then neither of those reasons can be used to say that they would be wrong to undergo euthanasia.

People don't usually want to die

People are eager to avoid death because they value being alive, because they have many things they wish to do, and experiences they wish to have.

Being dead, versus not having been born

But some people say that being dead is not different from not having been born yet, and nobody makes a fuss about the bad time they had before they were born.

There is a big difference - even though being dead will be no different as an experience from the experience of not having yet been born.

Death hurts people because it stops them having more of the things that they want, and could have if they continued to live.

Violation of autonomy

Another reason why death is a bad thing is that it's the worst possible violation of the the wishes of the person who does not want to die (or, to use philosopher-speak, of their autonomy).

haha.just came back from tuition at 10.20pm..
observed a few things on my way home.

1)the security guards didnt realise i was not a resident.
2)the taxi driver thought i was a foreigner cos i speak in a funny tone
[this shows that i must improve my chinese]

anyway..
i feel like a lion.YAWN!!
apparently this lion is suffering from muscles ache 12hrs after ms poon's PE lesson.

okie this is what we did for PE.

ran 2 rounds.did warm-up.then we did the following.

1)the arms thing 10 time.[take a pole.hold it with your both hands.swing it forward and make a 360 degrees turn to the back.
2)high knee lifts[25m]run and touch the wall..sprint back.
3)the arms thing 10 times.
4)butt kicks[25m]run and touch the wall..sprint back.
5)the arms thing 10 times.
6)russian march[25m]run and touch the wall..sprint back.
7)the arms thing 10 times.
8)the caterpillar thing[leg movement][25m]run and touch the wall..sprint back.

1-8 are drills to train us for NS nest time.haha.

then we played frisbee in the courtyard.
so imagine 17 frisbee flying about in the courtyard with no common direction.

haha.interesting rite?

haha.played with haiyun.our frisbee went off-course quite a number of time.
the whole courtyard was chaotic with frisbee flying.

-according to ms poon.it flies due to aero dynamics.[didnt know PE taught physic]

then we did 30 sit-ups in the courtyard before running for mr yau lesson[physic]

haha.mr yau was telling us AVT rules and physics stuff for 50mins which i still cant believe it.
then he said this which i find it highly intelligent and cool.

"the passport to get into the AVT is 1 or 2 markers."
"the reason for such crazy things is that my markers always go missing wherever i go"

haha.i wonder what crazy things he will do.i hoped to be there to observe one day. haha.

what's euthanasia[not ammesia]
Euthanasia is the deliberate killing of a person for the benefit of that person.
In most cases euthanasia is carried out because the person who dies asks for it, but there are cases called euthanasia where a person can't make such a request.

A person who undergoes euthanasia is usually terminally ill, but there are other situations in which some people want euthanasia.

The ethics of Euthanasia
Euthanasia raises agonising moral questions like these:
is it ever right for another person to end the life of a terminally ill patient who is in severe pain or enduring other suffering?
if euthanasia is sometimes right, under what circumstances is it right?
is there any moral difference between killing someone and letting them die?

At the heart of the ethical and religious arguments over euthanasia are the different ideas that people have of the meaning and value of human existence, and of whether human beings have the right to decide issues of life and death for themselves.

There are also a number of arguments based on practical issues.Some people think that euthanasia shouldn't be allowed even if it was morally right, because it would be abused and used as a cover for murder.

Killing or letting die
Euthanasia can be carried out either by doing something, such as giving a lethal injection, or by not to do something necessary to keep the person alive (for example failing to keep their feeding tube going).

'Extraordinary' medical care
It is not euthanasia if a patient dies as a result of refusing extraordinary or burdensome medical treatment.

Euthanasia and pain relief
It's not euthanasia to give a drug in order to reduce pain, even though the drug causes the patient to die sooner. This is because the doctor's intention was to relieve the pain, not to kill the patient.

Mercy killing
Very often people call euthanasia 'mercy killing', perhaps thinking of it for someone who is terminally ill and suffering prolonged, unbearable pain. The word euthanasia comes from the Greek and means easy death.

Why people want euthanasia
Most people think unbearable pain is the main reason people seek euthanasia, but some surveys in the USA and the Netherlands showed that less than a third of requests for euthanasia were because of severe pain.

Terminally ill people can have their quality of life severely damaged by physical conditions such as incontinence, nausea and vomiting, breathlessness, paralysis, difficulty in swallowing...

Psychological factors that cause people to think of euthanasia include depression, fear of loss of control or of dignity, feeling a burden, or dislike of being dependent.

my views on Euthanasia
aint it cruel to let ppl suffer on life support machine.
if you are on life support.you cant eat drink and even talk.
so the machine is your 'heart'
but then because i'm a catholic so:
Life is a thing of value in itself; it's value doesn't depend on the extent that it brings pleasure and well-being.
This means that suffering and pain do not stop life being valuable, and are not a reason for ending life.
so euthanasia is a NONO for us.

just so unlucky that the person who made the test tube pouch went missing.

being curious.i sniffed the air.NO smell.haha.then i went to the bottle of ammonium hydroxide and sniff.for a spilt second i couldnt smell anything.THEN i took a deep breathe and smell.the ammonium hydroxide went though my nose to my mouth.yucks.then i told peiting:"go smell it"haha.she almost killed me.haha.

anyway todays first guides session of the year.quite fun.
then.this the second time i appeared in the guides magazine.
damm embarrassing cos i look like a mad women.

had quiz on guides law and stuff.haha.
yurong keetyeng and liying were super crazy.
keep answering questions until got banned.
Jasmine got 2nd.clapps.
then had horseshoe.
and we are the only cca that marches in circle.haha.
acted like sec1s during sing-a-long.felt stupid.haha.

guess what.

peek-a-boo!!

Was rotting at home like a couch potato for the past few hours before 1st jan as my dad cleverly hide the modem wire in the kitchen cabinet[was found when he sms me today too=) clever place right.]

anyway. took out all the lightstick ytd before the TV went 5 4 3 2 1 Happy New Year.
so mi family didnt know how to break it.
haha.new technology for them.
so had to teach them step by step how to break it. [science practical]
saw the too of the fireworks cos apparently the TALL TALL building block our great view. so the lightsticks=our fireworks.
